ZXZA Magazine was a web zine created by myself and two classmates from the University of Portland and designed by my company Ink Pen. The magazine featured fiction, poetry, photography, and reviews of TV, music, and film. ZXZA was a site, yet the zine was published in monthly issues, and near the end of its run was attracting about 1,000 hits per issue. Despite its success, the three of us became too busy with our individual interests and projects and ceased publishing new material.
After discussing for about a year, we finally assembled the first (and likely only) print edition. Print Issue No. 1 features the best of ZXZA's twelve issues, minus it's reviews. The issue is being distributed in full color around the Portland, Oregon metro area for free. It's nice to finally see the zine in true zine form!
